Kwesi first fell in love with music in his Junior High School. He was inspired by his older brother, Kwabena Lyta, who was already pursuing music on a serious level. Kwesi began learning the rap lyrics from his brother, freestyling raps for his classmates, and eventually decided to write lyrics of his own in JHS 2, and his classmates were impressed with his originality and creativity.
Kwesi’s breakthrough came when Lyta started taking him along for local concerts and events in Sefwi Wiawso.Â
