His Early Life and Family
Strongman was born and raised in Buokrom, a suburb in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He grew up with his parents, Madam Lawreshia Tagoe and Mr. Owusu (Capito), and his grandmother. He is the first of four children from his mother and has four additional siblings from his father.

Strongman’s educational Journey is as important to him as his music career. He attended Kings and Queens Primary and Junior High School and proceeded to study Business at T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School (T.I. AMASS) in Kumasi. Strongman later attended the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and earned a degree in Business Management Studies in 2016.

At T.I. AMASS high school, Strongman initiated his music career by participating in rap battles against his classmates. He was so talented that he started to gain popularity and took part in freestyle competitions and won.
After he won the Next Big Thing in GH Hip-hop, Strongman signed his first contract as a record deal with MicBurnerz Music in Kumasi. Strongman’s talent earned him the attention of Ghanaian rap royalty (Sarkodie), and in 2017, Strongman signed a deal with Sarkodie and his label, Sarkcess Music.
 After two successful years, Strongman broke away from the label to go independent and set up his own label, “Strong Empire.”
