Adwoa’s audition changed her life. Maame Dokono cast her in the series and also sees her as a daughter. Adwoa spent 20 years working with Maame Dokono and was able to master her craft. Adwoa then became a well-known name on Ghanaian television—her role in Obra launched her to successful heights as an actress, soon to include her role as part of the Efiewura cast on TV3.
