EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Anita was born at Koforidua Old Estate in the Eastern Region and spent the first 15 years of her life in Dansoman, Greater Accra, where she lived with her uplifted family. The daughter of a businessman and a stay-at-home housewife, Anita has one older sister, Maame Serwaa Akuffo and one younger brother. Anita began her education at St. Anthony School in Dansoman, where she discovered her passion for communication. Anita continued her education at Wesley Grammar Senior High School, where she earned a high school diploma, after which she attended the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication studies. While studying at GIJ, Anita debuted as a lady of the spotlight by participating in beauty pageants, including the Miss GIJ competition, and was a runner-up in the Miss Eco-Was beauty pageant.

She left Solid Multimedia to join EIB’s (Excellence In Broadcasting) GhOne TV, and co-hosted with Berla Mundi the Miss Malaika Ghana 2016 Launch.
