Her mother, Rama Brew, is/was a well-known actress in Ghana and played a lead character in the popular TV Series Home Sweet Home. After her parents divorced at the age of 2, Michelle’s mother married an Italian man, and the family moved to Torino, Italy, when she was only five years old.
At age 13, she came back to Ghana and attended Ghana International School (GIS) and later attended Labone Senior High School. In hopes of finding a connection to her biological father, she briefly moved to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, before coming back to Ghana and completing her education.
